Nuno Alves has a Bachelor degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, as well as a post-graduate degree in Real Estate Management completed in 2004, both from the University of Porto. 

He has also completed several professional training courses in senior management and banking.

He has more than 25 years experience in the sector, with roughly 20 of those in management positions, of which more than 15 have been in private banking.

He is currently a Director of Banco Carregosa, which he joined in 2019.

He taught Finance and Capital Markets at the Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão – European Business School in Porto. He was also a consultant in the preparation of investment projects, within the scope of EU funding managed by IAPMEI.
