João Queiroz has a Bachelor degree in Economics from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, obtained in 1992, and completed a post-graduate degree in Markets and Financial Assets at ISCTE/INDEG in 1997.

Of the extensive experience he has gained in banking during the last 30 years, more than 20 have been in capital markets and trading in financial instruments.

He joined L. J. Carregosa - Sociedade Financeira de Corretagem in 2004, and is currently Head of Trading at Banco Carregosa.
