João Torres de Assunção graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Studies from London South Bank University in London in 2004.

He has more than 18 years’ experience in capital markets, having worked in many areas encompassing the Stock Exchange and corporate finance. Since 2009, he has been concentrating his efforts on creating teams for the development of institutional business with a greater focus on trading and related services. 

He is currently Director of the Financial Markets Department at Banco Carregosa, which he joined in 2015.
