November 12th and 13th at the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto

More than 65 national and international organizations and two thematic sessions with experts in emerging and relevant areas, such as Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability. These are the main highlights of RUMO 2024, the annual employability event of the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto, which is held without interruption - even during the pandemic, in an online format - and which is now completing 23 years of a continuous journey of creating opportunities and connecting finalists with the job market. This year's event will take place between November 12 and 13 at the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto.

For the Pro-Rector of the Portuguese Catholic University, Isabel Braga da Cruz, "this annual meeting reinforces the Catholic University's commitment to the employability of its students, providing them with practical preparation and an important network of contacts for their professional integration. This year, with the participation of leading experts and companies, RUMO 2024 promises to open doors and expand horizons for our students' professional future.” Between themed sessions and stand talks, the university's students and alumni will be able to explore different career opportunities in the fields of Management, Economics, Biotechnology, Arts, Law, Education, Psychology and Nursing. The 2024 edition will feature 65 companies at stands on the campus of the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto. Companies from different sectors will interact directly with the students, sharing perspectives on their needs and exploring possible collaborations and career opportunities. Among the participating entities are important names from different areas of activity, enriching the networking experience and giving students a broad and current view of the job market.

The structure of the event has also evolved compared to previous years, with a record number of organizations and a focus on topical issues such as AI and sustainability. This update reflects RUMO's ability to adapt to the new dynamics and needs of the market, ensuring that students have access to knowledge and experiences in line with current trends and requirements.
